Is it possible that Sahaja Yoga meditation could be the basis for world peace? If we accept that peace cannot be imposed from above, but needs to be established in each individual, then this starts to look quite plausible. If you ask any Sahaja Yogi if they have become more peaceful within I’m sure you’ll find that the answer is “Yes!” So if everyone is peaceful and satisfied, how can there be war?
This peaceful state can only be established once the kundalini has been awakened, through a process called self-realisation, and after that through meditation and through a process of cleansing the chakras, a process which is made easier by attending free Sahaja Yoga programs.
Meditation allows us to let go of our identification with our body, mind, our ego and our conditionings. Through meditation we become detached from our gross selves, from the enemies of our spirit, such as greed, anger and attachment. One of the results of getting our self-realisation is that we become aware of our inner being, our energy centres. and as a result we know where we need correcting. By attending a Sahaja Yoga class we can find out how to cleanse each energy centre.
Each problem within us, whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual is actually associated with a problem in one or more energy centres. By cleansing all the energy centres, we remove all our problems! This has been demonstrated scientifically through research into the effects of Sahaja Yoga meditation on various diseases.
